1 Scope and field of application


This part of IS0 3738 specifies  the preparation  and calibration of hardmetal  primary  standard  test blocks,  secondary  standard test blocks and working  standard  test blocks from master standard test blocks  to be used for the verification  of Rockwell hardness  testing  machines  (scale A) and indenters for testing hardmetals.

This document  should  be read in conjunction  with IS0 3738-l.
